“I had never been able to get a room there before. I had always had my dog. Even though he was a service animal he did shed horribly. I found the room pleasant. The high ceiling in my room was a feature I found to be a nice architectural touch to the classic American feel of the room. I loved the tile in the bathrooms walk-in shower and the vibe extended past my in-room experience to the Lady who managed the motel very well. I had just experienced major loss of a beloved pet and even though not allowing pets a yellow tabby kitten ran into my room while I smoked outside. It went under the bed and wouldn't come out. I woke latter to a purring kitten around my neck and I was finally not alone. I'm sorry about the kitten but it healed my broken heart. Thank Evenox Motel. Thank you much.”

“Kelly was a great host for the weekend, she accommodated our requests and was knowledgeable of the area and made many good recommendations. The showers here were better than any hotel I've stayed at, the pressure was great and the water got up to temperature quickly (and I like a hot shower). My only complaint about the room is that it could use a bright ceiling light to brighten up the whole space when the blinds are closed. Handicap visitors may want to call ahead with questions”

“If you are into luxury, pools, and fitness centers this place is not for you. That being said it is a very nice little place. The building is old and the walls are painted cinder block but the rooms are clean, have a fridge and microwave. The curators are,pleasant and make coffee for everyone in the little office in the morning. The price is low and you are in walking distance of several restaurants and drugstores. Recommend to people just looking for a room and don't want to spend a lot of money.”

“I love Judy and her family! They treated my family with respect and she gave my dad a place when he was homeless. Yeah he had to pay but she provides coffee and cooks soup! Her soup is great btw!!! My family was here for a long time! I would recommend always! They're like family and everyone so nice also its so great being close to all those resturants”

“Well, normally I would go to the Best Western or a Marriot Hotel and Motels aren’t my first or second choices but on this trip from Long Island,NY to the Chippewa Falls area and meeting up with several others from Long Island and Oklahoma for a wedding of my nephew we all decided to choose staying at the Evenox Motel. The room is a dated scene from the ‘70’s which was ok ( I grew up in the 60’s & ‘70’s). It was really a nice stay. The rooms were very clean, the bed not too hard or soft ( I prefer soft but I slept well ). As one reviewer mentioned, when the blinds were closed the room was dark but I heard they have new brighter lamps with USB’s in them . Great choice. The shower had GREAT water pressure which I loved. We all enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose to stay there again when in the area. The manager, Kelly, alone would make me choose to go back. She’s the friendliest, kindest and most caring to those that stay there on long term and to us that stayed for several days. You can tell that’s her nature. When we gathered together outside our doors on the benches outside our rooms she joined us and shared many laughs and told us about Chippewa Falls. Turns out she’s originally from Long Island as well. If your deciding whether or not to stay a night or two here don’t hesitate to stay. Oh and the rates were good.”

“Great friendly family based place . Mrs Judy is a sweet heart and goes out of her way to help her guest. Rooms are nice and clean as well as there being cable and WiFi . Prices are easy to fit your budget. Manager Mrs Judy runs a tight ship so no ignorance is tolerated witch guarantees you a nice clean safe place to stay . Lovely place and great staff !”
